This executive-level position reports to the Director and will assist with overseeing a revenue collection stream in excess of $2.9 billion and have a staff of approximately 285 full-time employees. The Deputy Director of Finance is an integral part of the Finance Department's executive management team and has considerable interface with all departments of the City by providing assistance on financial procurement, investments, accounting, and other related matters. The Deputy Director of Finance is responsible for assisting with formulating policy alternatives, developing goals and objectives, supervising staff, administering the annual budget, and directing the day-to-day financial operations of the City. Qualifications: Possession of a Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university in accounting, finance, public administration, business administration, or a similar field is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of ten (10) years of senior executive financial management experience with a large public or private organization.
